my spy guy...

I think that for my husband Robyn, the highlight of the event we were at this week was not selling quilts and baby bibs. Shocking, I know! I think the highlight for him was having our booth right next door to a replica of James Bond's car, from the movie "Die Another Day". When we pulled into our space on Tuesday morning, I heard the first of literally THOUSANDS of exclamations of delight and awe from every male who wandered past... the first, of course, being from my husband. But come on... can you blame him? Let me tell you, this car was a major attention getter, because when Halle Berry is associated with a vehicle like this, the attention is bound to be there! It was a pertty sweet sight to behold, if I do say so myself, and when the guns and rockets appeared from the hood and grill... let's just say the 'wow' factor was only intensified! Now, I've always disliked the fact that I've been labled as being "crafty". It's not a word that I'm overly fond of, although I know I've earned it. But I must say that it did come in handy when the guys next door needed a pair of scissors and came to me because I happened to look "crafty". I saw my scissors as a bargaining chip and soon I had a very happy spy guy for a husband... (Of the THOUSANDS of males drooling over this piece of metal, mine was the only one let inside!)

We also entered the draw to win a day with the "spy car"... wish us luck!!
I looked up the site from the business card we were given and thought I'd give a link with this post. Trinity Auto Centre is in Coquitlam, B.C., and if you're in the neighbourhood, I'm sure you'd be welcome to stop in. I also found the link to Exclusive Motor Cars... and guys, you might want to check this one out. Make sure your speakers are on...

Bet your happy was happy that you were crafty at that moment. Lucky him to be the only guy inside such a great looking car.

Lookin` good, Robyn. Park that in
your driveway and it`s sure to get the neighbors talking. Bet they`ll feel safer.

Hey there, it was nice meeting you too. Thanks again for holding down my booth for a few minutes. I'll be peeking back at your blog to see what's up with you. Glad to hear you made some sales after all the hard work.

Random question here...do you make quilted purses? I'm new(er) to your blog, so sorry if I missed this somehow!
