The latest quilt on-the-go is an Alphabet Sampler. Fun so far, and it's gonna be a big one! I'm not sure why I'm starting a new quilt right now... there are a few pesky pieces in my sewing basket that need finishing... but I'll get 'em done! I promise!

And as you can see, it's displayed on my lovely new-to-me light teal ironing board which was placed oh, so invitingly on the curb across the road from our house. And, since mine was having balance issues, it was accepted with open arms. Now I just need a new cover for it.
Have a great Wednesday! Julianna FINALLY gets out of school tomorrow... to join Emily who's been out for a week now. Summer's here - bring it on!

Oh, Kimberly -- that sampler is going to be SO DARN CUTE! And how fun to score such a cool little ironing board too. I'm sure you can whip up a new cover with all of your spare summer vacation time, right?
We're officially on vacation here as well. The bummer is that it's been raining here -- almost constantly -- for nearly two weeks now. Apparently summer is taking her sweet old time this year.
Can't wait to see more!
love your work..I swear you are kimberly sew hands..and they are fast...you do such nice work..:)
Are those letters pieced or appliqued? That is one cute pattern--can't wait to see how you put it all together. Love it!! Have a great day. Julie
Kimberly ~ loving that new sampler quilt & good for you ~ a new ironing board & the price was right. I know you can make a cover for it with all of your talent.

The ABC quilt is so cute ~ I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project.
Enjoy your summer with the girls. That was my favorite time of year when my children were young. I never put them in many summer activities ~ we truly lived the lazy days of summer. Oh for a taste of that again!!
